English professional emails tend to be more concise and direct than German ones — skip the elaborate opening pleasantries and get to the point quickly. The subject line should be specific and action-oriented (“Meeting Request: Project Update” not just “Meeting”). Always match your register to the relationship: “Dear Mr. Smith” for new contacts, “Hi John” for established ones.
