Minimal Pairs Practice

Minimal pairs are words that differ by only one sound. Practicing them is one of the best ways to improve your pronunciation!

What Are Minimal Pairs?

Minimal pairs help you:

  • Hear the difference between similar sounds
  • Practice producing each sound correctly
  • Avoid confusion and misunderstandings

How to practice: Say both words slowly, focusing on the one sound that changes. Then try saying them faster.
